Between 2003 and 2012, we continued to develop our style and creative process for devising original theatre. We worked with rural schools and villages to create original educational projects and community arts events. We created more small scale touring shows which we took on the road visiting theatres and arts centres, festivals and touring schemes. We also made shows in non-traditional venues. Embracing the challenges and opportunities that came with performing in beautiful and unique spaces across Derbyshire. We invited audiences to journey with us through woods, parks, and other outdoor environments, making them active participants in the storytelling process. We honed our craft in site-specific theatre, using the landscapes and features as backdrops and inspiration for our epic adventures.
