The Studio

5 weeks of drawing, making and creating. Thursdays 17.00 -19.00 Starting 4th June. Free drop in taster session Thurs 28 May 10.00-16.00

Location: “The Space” Spring Gardens (opposite Buxton Pets shop)

A creative studio for young people aged 12-17 interested in art, design and making.

Over the five weeks you’ll:

  • Play drawing games to unlock ideas
  • Build 2D and 3D worlds
  • Create characters and places
  • Experiment with light silhouette and imagination
  • Work as part of a small collective group
  • Work alongside the professional artists of Babbling Vagabonds

No experience needed. No pressure to create a “finished piece”. Just space to explore ideas, develop skills and make work together

The Studio runs a pay what you can model, because we believe access to creativity shouldn’t depend on income.

£7 per session (suggested) If that works for you, great, if not, you pay what you can. No questions asked.
