Between 2013 and 2018, we found a special kind of magic in winter. We began creating family Christmas shows, stories that were designed to gather people together at the darkest time of year and send them home glowing.
Our partnership with DerbyLive opened new doors, taking our work to The Guildhall Theatre and in the summer months Markeaton Park. With bigger stages and bolder technical possibilities, we were able to deepen our theatrical trickery, while still holding onto the heart of what makes our work feel like us.
Even as the scale grew, the spirit stayed the same. Our shows celebrated the live, shared act of theatre: cheeky, irreverent, visually rich and full of wonder. We blended crafted storytelling with moments of interaction, inviting audiences of all ages not just to watch the magic, but to feel part of it.
These stories became more than performances, they became traditions of shared family memories and seasonal rituals.
