Our Work In Schools

We also work closely with schools, bringing imaginative workshops and theatre projects into classrooms and halls.

These sessions help pupils work together, think creatively and discover new ways to tell their stories.

We have two workshops available now…
The Storytellers Suitcase and The Wonderful World of Shadow Puppetry

For Christmas 2026, let us bring live theatre to your school!

The Storytellers Suitcase, kick-start the day with a whole school assembly where we perform a traditional story, followed by classroom workshops where the storyteller supports pupils to create a brand new tale.

The Wonderful World of Shadow Puppetry, inspire and enthuse the whole school with a short performance where shadows dance across the room and fill the room with magic. Afterwards the Puppeteer works with class groups, sharing all the skills and tricks with your pupils to make their very own shadow puppet.

Christmas 2026, why travel to the theatre for a Christmas treat? Babbling Vagabonds have been creating heart warming original stories for 25 years.
